In February 2004, we commenced our Good Start Breakfast Club program in partnership with the Australian Red Cross, to provide breakfast for kids at school in areas of most need. The Good Start Breakfast Club now operates in more than 100 schools around Australia and the teams of Australian Red Cross volunteers together with the support of Sanitarium, are making a significant improvement to the health and well-being of primary school aged children. In areas where the Good Start Breakfast Club operates school principals are reporting an increase in school attendance, police are reporting a reduction in crime and kids are learning new social skills. Sanitarium strong commitment to this program is such that we will not support breakfast program outside of the Good Start Breakfast Club. Please direct all breakfast program requests through to the Australian Red Cross. For contact details and more information about the Good Start Breakfast Club program visit www.goodstartbreakfastclub.com.au
